I have been fortunate enough to have had experience in a wide variety of music genres and love to not only teach the technical aspects of Drumming, but share my knowledge about the music industry that I have gained so far in my career.
I have experience in not only playing local live shows, but also performing at a variety of festivals, both national and international, such as Glastonbury and Boomtown Fest and have toured the UK and around Europe.
I've even played the drums in a Pudsey Bear outfit for Children in Need 2022.
I teach from complete beginner all the way to advanced and pride myself on my patient and conscientious approach when it comes to teaching people of all ages.
I hope to see you down the studio for a session or even just a cup of tea and a chat...
How did I get into drums?
When I was a young lad, about the age of seven, I came across an advert on the television. I saw a full grown Gorilla sitting on a drumset with calm and poise before exploding into an electrifying drum solo to the song
'In The Air Tonight' by Phil Collins.
I remember thinking it was the coolest thing I'd ever seen and wanted to BE that Gorilla on the Drumkit. I've yet to dress up as a terrifying mammal before letting rip on my Drum-set, but it's definitely on my To-Do list.
